The great structure re-structure

Depending on how often you drop in on the Flywell website, you may notice some big changes. We have completely rebuilt our website, even though it looks basically the same. We have removed some stuff, and added some even better, more interesting items. It was time for our website to grow a bit as we needed to add some more samples of work we've done. So while we were at it, we went ahead and restructured the entire website.

Caution! The rest is full of code talk and gets pretty nerdy.

Previously our website was 100% full page Flash (an Adobe program). This was great because it allowed us to show some of our smooth tweening skills. Flash is awesome, and we won't ever give it up. We will continue to make full page flash websites, and we will find new and exciting ways to incorporate our Flash'ables into our XHTML and CSS websites. A lot of web developers look down on Flash because it has been sorely abused over the years. So needless to say we have taken some flack for our dedication to Flash. While this doesn't really bother us, we started to think that it might be good for us to show everyone that we do have the ability to build with XHTML and CSS (which you're reading right now).

So here you are... this version of our website is all XHTML / CSS. All certified by WC3, no tables, no frames. The Flash objects that we do include all use swfObject (well, even our full page Flash sites use swfObject). If you have any questions or comment please let us know.

Thanks!
